anyone know how to open a view sat platinum lite...I was getting picture but it froze and went black anyone??????

went black and it does not says anything on the screen?if you're using a switch check the switch by connecting the coax directly to your rcvr.

DEpending on what Bin File you used, DBPSW-070304P,DBPSW-070407P this had an extra (boot) cycle if you did not allow this boot cycle to complete then it has (looped) your (eeprom) chip and there is now way to fix it, unles it will take a factory flash of v2051, but if it making funny stuff on the LCD the unit is dead.
Time to send it back to the vender, or viewsatusa for repairs.
