Will a dvd recorder with a digital tuner work the same as a DVR from your cable company. I found a dvd recorder that has a digital tuner for digital tv. if I could drop my cable box it would be great.

I don't think so....the tuner maybe talking about digital QUALITY...not digital programming.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
