i was just wondering if buying a FTA Reciever and a Dish will work if i use it stand alone i am not subscribed to any service provider (starchoice or expressvu) if i were to point the dish to 119 degrees will i be able to pick up those channels... or do you have to run the FTA receiver with another activated reciever (startchoice, expressvu)

I'm running an FTA receiver with a Bev dish, no probs at all, was subscribed ...but woke up and seen the FTA light.....LOL
