Dish Network?

As dissapointing as it is my new house doesn't support cable, so ill have to get satelite with dish network (sigh) ive had cable since forever, so anyways, i want to know, do you have to have a box to watch tv. Here at my house now, we have one box for the flatscreen hdtv for hdtv, and stuff like HBO, the othertv's have no boxes, so its not hdtv, and it doesn't have hbo, is this the same with the dish. Can i watch tv without a box with the dish?!! thanks!

Yes, you need the receivers. As least one for every two regular TVs and one seperate for HDTV.

Hello I just started to use dish.I had Bell before. I had to buy a box for each TV. Also a special head on the sat to have more than one TV hooked up. It helps drive the cost up, buying extra boxes. We have 4 TV's and I could not afford a box for each so the extra 2 are just sitting on the floor doing nothing. When I had coge-co they never charged me for the extra boxes. I bought used ones and just hooked them up myself. If I knew how often the dish would crash I would not have bought them.
