With the dishnetwork high definition package there is a USB port how do...

...you save shows to the hard drive? Do you need some kind of special program. The USB port of the dishnetwork receiver is for the purpose of downloading shows. Then I could take that harddrive and convert it to my computer and burn a DVD copy?
