Is Direct TV High speed internet any Good?

My Family is getting it, if anyone as it, jus wondering how the service is.

Directv doesn't actually have the satellite internet service it is done by Hughesnet or Wild Blue. They do also bundle with Quest dsl which is a reliable service. Satellite internet is reliable but as far as the cost to install it and the monthly price i would recommend other options.

Direct/Hughes satellite hi speed internet

I have had direct/hughes "high speed" internet for a couple of years. It beats my dial up speed (2400!) and is ok for browsing and the occasional download, but there is no comparison to DSL or Cable! They have a threshold limit, and if you go over it, they throttle you WAY back, to the point where dial up seems fast! If you have any other high speed options, I would go with that.

Thumbs up signal but no picture

Please help need the code; for coolstat 5000. getting full signal but no picture.
This problem started about 3 day ago.
