properly? My Directv DVR sometimes will not respond to commands, like changing the channel and pausing, until I reset it. I ahve to reset it about once a week. I am on my 2nd receiver with the same problem. Any advice?

Almost everyone that has a DirecTV DVR, including myself, are having these problems. My advice is to get an old DirecTV with Tivo like I had to do, or get a normal receiver and just hook up a Tivo box to it.
