In some States, if certain legislation passes (eliminating local control over Cable rates) AT&T is trying to offer a TV and Internet service called Lightspeed. It will not replace their Satellite partnership, but will be a new service, using land lines similar to regular Cable (but with much faster speeds and more bandwidth). Check with your local AT&T offices for the progress of this effort in your area.
