What is better, Cable or Satellite? I honestly think DirecTV is a ridiculous rip off.

What about you? Direct TV says they are better but you cannot beat cable. It is fact, information can move quicker through cables then wirelessly because you have to relay wireless information and there are loss of packets or w/e and satellite internet is the WORST. not to mention, i kinda enjoy the thought of watching tv on a stormy or rainy day, oh wait but i couldnt do that if i had satellite. i can only watch tv on satellite when it is nice outside, just the kinda days u DONT want to stay inside and watch TV.

Me I prefer cable. Satellite goes out if a stiff wind blows. also you dont have video on demand with satellite. Also when it comes to problems with the service satellite will charge you enormous services rates and it takes weeks to come out. with cable service is free and only a max of a couple of days. Cable is the pick for me.

I have cable, and one of the TVs I have it hooked up to is in my basement. Every time there is a tornado warning and I go to the basement, everyone I know who has satellite calls me for weather updates. If you can't count on your service provider in an emergency, what good is it?

after the storm do you still enjoy waiting days for them to re-string your cable?
