Comcast tv vs Direct tv in the Phila...

...area ONLY? I have Comcast tv and a HDTV. I love sports and I live in Phila. If I switch to Direct TV how do I get the Phillies and the Flyers since they broadcast of Comcast? Do you have Direct TV? Do you watch the Phillies and the Flers? Is there an additional fee? I see Comcast listed in the list of direct TV stations byt not Phila's Comcast. Answers and suggestions please. Comcast is getting very expensive. Thanks for your time and your sugg.

That's the big complaint with Direct TV in Philly - they don't have Comcast Sportsnet. Verizon FIOS, while being heavily advertised on SEPTA busses and on TV in Philadelphia as being available in "the Philadelphia area" is NOT availalbe in Philadelphia itslef. FIOS does have a package with SportsNet, but due to Comcast's hold on this city, don't expect any competition to be availalbe here any time soon.
