Time Warner Cable or Verizon Fios or Dish Network or Direct TV for HDTV and broadband Internet in
So. Cali? I want to have HDTV programming with local channels in HD and at least ESPN and TNT in HD. I also want broadband internet without getting DSL since I don't want to get a phone line just for DSL. A non-subscription DVR would be nice too. I don't care about all those digital music channels.
Which provider is the cheapest and the best with what I'm looking for? I'm in Southern California/Ventura County. |

Well I had all except Verizon, and by far I have to say DirecTV is the best. Thier channels look more clear, and they sound a WHOLE lot better than any other service out there. And the have more HD channels the anyone else.
Go with the best, GET DIRECTV! |

If you can get FiOS, that's your best bet. Amazing speeds, decent HD Selection.
If not, then go with DISH for price and the availability of many HD channels over Voom. At that point, you'll either want broadband through cable or dsl (cable is usually faster). |
