I'm on the westcoast of Canada.. Vancouver...

What is the best cellphone provider out here at the Moment..

We have Fido,Rogers,Telus, and Bell....

Fido/Rogers are now one and the same but they still have their own rates..

I also would like a fair amount of data.... any help would be appreciated.

Fido is the cheapest.... Rogers has better coverage and bell/telus well they are CDMA so forget it...

And don't even think about data in Canada its just a straight rip off.

Fido was the best of both worlds.....per second billing and Rogers coverage. I don't use data, so I don't know about that.

So was the rogers coverage just a promotion or if i signup with fido i get the same coverage as rogers customers?

If thats true what incentive is there to pay the higher prices of rogers?

Rogers blows, chunks. I wouldn't deal with them ever again. I'd sooner go without a phone, cable or internet then deal with them.

I have Telus, and I've had no problems, and have no grips.
