Bell expressvu 9200 receivers - does anyone have troubles with the HDMI...
...port picture is black &/or lose sound? I have a bell express vu 9200 receiver with problems with the HDMI port. If you wiggle it just right, you will get picture and sound. Most times, I get nothing but a black screen. Bell recognizes the problem but wants be to buy a restored or new receiver. They claim that they are working on the problem and want me to run component. The problem is that I have to run 5 cables up through my wall. There is no problem with the cables as I had my Dad's 9200 test my cables and it worked fine. It is the port. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have contacted bell and they will not give me an exchange because they say that the problem is on "their end". No idea when the fix is coming. It is not under warranty so now what? |

Yeah, this sucks. Is it still under warranty? If so, Bell should fix it so it properly uses HDMI, or refund your $$$ so you can get something that works. If it's not under warranty, I guess you eat it. Have you complained to the dealer from you purchased it?
